Ethiopia Sidamo

The Sidamo coffee provides a wide variety of flavors. Due to different soil types, micro-climates and uncountable raw coffee varieties, the coffee produced in each town has distinct differences. During the years 2010-2012, Sidamo coffee has consecutively won 92-94 points in the US authoritative coffee review website. From this, we can see that the extraordinary value of the raw coffee beans here. Filled with high-altitude mountain ranges, highlands, valleys and plains, the region has a topographic diversity. The soil in the region is the fertile volcanic soil, equipped with good drainage systems. The soil is nearly 2 meters in depth and the surface soil exhibits a dark brownish or brown color. The fallen leaves from the withering of the nearby forests and plants and the remaining roots of the plants will provide natural fertilizer for the coffee trees.

This coffee batch is produced by the Shilcho Cooperative located near Dilla Town. Established in 1976, the cooperative is currently a member of the Sidama Coffee Farmer Cooperative Union (SCFCU). After the second selective picking, the selected coffee presents an exceptional performance in terms of flavor.
